Handmade for durability from oil-treated birch wood and ‘union mixture’ bristles. ‘Union mixture’ is a blend of white fibre and bassine fibre, which are stiff, strong and water-resistant - excellent for scrubbing potatoes and root vegetables. This brush has a classic, considered design, with a concave shape for grip and bristles hand-sewn and bound with stainless steel wire.

With simple care, these handmade brushes will age beautifully. Clean the brush with soap and warm water, leave to dry with bristles down, and once in a while oil the wood with mineral oil.
