Coming Together is a celebration of sharing food. It chronicles a series of long lunches enjoyed with my friends, bringing together all of the things I missed most after spending most of 2020 in lockdown in Melbourne, Australia.

Friends, good food, good wine and good music all in one place!

These six long lunches, cooked in friend’s kitchens and enjoyed in their various outdoor areas feature a series of my recipes, as well as one recipe contributed by each of my friends. The book is broken up into each lunch. Each lunch features some amazing suggested wine pairings put together by my friend and true wine aficionado, Mike Chambers, as well as a cute little playlist inspired by the tastes of each household.

Clementine Day is a self taught, home cook that runs Some Things I Like to Cook, an evolving project that draws a meaningful connection between food, people and play. Interested in exploring the emotional relationship between the heart and the stomach, and the human connections that are formed over food, Clementine works on collaborative, creative food projects with friends and creatives across Melbourne.

The recipes within aren’t laden with fancy lingo and difficult processes, they are simple, easy and enjoyable to make.  Using produce that is in season, easy to find, and in some cases, already in your pantry.
