Stitchwallah
Stitchwallah was founded in India in 2010 by New Zealand costume designer Hilary Niederer, after she relocated to Mumbai to work in Bollywood movies. Hilary has worked internationally in film, television, dance, theatre and opera for 30 years, on projects which include The Last Samurai, Game of Thrones and The Kite Runner.
Hilary has a love for handmade and handwoven pieces and is passionate about promoting and supporting Indian grassroots handcrafted manufacturing techniques.
Stitchwallah is now based in Arrowtown, New Zealand, and offers unique gifts handmade by award-winning Indian master weavers, dyers, printers and craftspeople.
